It's been dead for a while yeah. It was someone's pet project and beyond a few sessions of racing there wasn't really any interest in working on it. After a while the box the server was running on was either taken offline or re-used for something else.

TRP was already almost completely separated from TnB before this. They had their own discord, their own development team (We offered them our help and were turned down) and they were already working on their own forums behind the scenes. They were the ones that ultimately approached us wanting...

They're working on setting up their own forums, it's not ready yet but I'm sure there'll be some kind of announcement over there when they are.

We've come to a mutual agreement together with @Lambda that the best course moving forward is to allow his TRP project to fully separate itself from TnB, becoming it's own independent community For most people this won't be too surprising, TRP has been operating almost completely autonomously...

The server is still up, though I don't think anyone's bothered with it other than a few play sessions early on

Can't add GMR to the variety server at the moment because it's not compatible with the map voting thing and it wants you to use it's built-in version instead (and workshop content is kinda all over the place) Both servers also live on the same box so it's one or the other, can't have both

The playercount's going to be a bit low for now since that's just the hardware it's being hosted on at the moment. We can try raising it but no promises on how well it'll run. Adding new gamemodes should be fine as long as they're somewhat compatible with the voting system. Gmod racer isn't so...
